Questions people ask
Do we need to change anything on our network?
No. The PC at each site connects out to PrintHub over the normal internet, the same way a browser does. No router changes, open ports, VPN or fixed IP address.
What happens when the internet drops at a site?
Jobs wait safely on PrintHub and print as soon as the site is back. If a job waited longer than six hours, it is held for a person to release, so a pile of old documents never prints by surprise.
Which systems can send documents?
ERPNext and Frappe have a PrintHub button built in. Any other system that can send a file over the internet can use the PrintHub API, and anyone can print from a browser or phone.
How do we pay?
Monthly or yearly, by M-Pesa, Visa or Mastercard, or bank transfer for yearly plans. Every payment gets an eTIMS tax invoice and a receipt by email.
Can one account cover several companies?
Yes. A group account keeps each company's sites, people and bills separate while you see them side by side. IT partners can look after many client companies the same way.
Is our data safe?
Everything travels over HTTPS. Each person can print only at the sites you allow, every action is recorded in an audit log, and documents are deleted after seven days.
